AYC Class Fees

Every AYC member must be aware of their responsibility to pay their fees on time. At Aikido Yoshinkai Canada there are three categories which make up the fee structure. Please pay particular attention to the requirements for each category and ensure that your own fees are always paid on time.

A. Annual Membership Fees

Annual Membership Fees are payable by all students, at all dojos. The Annual Membership is due at the beginning of the year or at the time of registration. It provides you with membership in Aikido Yoshinkai Canada, the AYC handbook, and the opportunity to test above 7th Kyu.

B. Class Fees

Class Fees are payable on the First (1st) of each month, or before the first class attended. Please be diligent in paying your Class Fees on time. A Late Payment Fee of $10 will be charged after the 10th of each month. Also, remember to have your membership card signed to indicate that payment has been received. You will have to submit this as part of your application to test for each level.

C. Test Fees

Test fees must be paid prior to testing, and class fees must be paid up to date. Please submit your test fee, completed application form and membership card prior to your test.

NOTE: Keep your own record of class attendance. You are required to have this information for your test application. These times and class periods represent the minimum limits for advancement. Both the minimum class periods and time spans must be met; if you cannot fulfill them, you must wait for the next test. Please allow yourself whatever time is necessary for your personal rate of learning before you attempt advancement. You need not test if you do not wish to do so. Remember that rank is not the most important aspect of Aikido. The study of Aikido is important. The striving for rank need not distract you from the essence of your study.
