Guests:
Guest students are encouraged to call ahead instead of just dropping in. If you don't have a dogi (traditional training suit) just wear loose-fitting sweat pants and a heavy t-shirt or sweat shirt.

If you already practice another martial art, including a different form of Aikido, you are certainly welcome to come and sample Yoshinkan Aikido, but please wear a white belt and no hakama, and take your place in line to the left of the dojo's regular white belts. (Yes, we have a spare white belt you can borrow, just ask.)

Guests who already have rank in Yoshinkan Aikido are welcome to wear their rank belt and take their place in line accordingly. Aikido Yoshinkai Burnaby issues only white, brown and black belts. If you wear another colour, ask the regular students where you fit in line.
