The following video clips were taken during a Japanese Martial Arts demonstration
at Ryerson Polytechnic University (Toronto, Canada) on July 3, 1999. This event was hosted
by Aikido Yoshinkai Canada, in celebration of Takeshi Kimeda Sensei's 35th Anniversary in
Canada.
This event featured
demonstrations by some of the area's top-ranked instructors in Karate, Judo, Iaido and
Jodo. The highlight of the event was an Aikido demonstration by Kimeda Sensei (8th dan,
Chief Instructor of Aikido Yoshinkai Canada), and T. Chida Shihan (8th dan, Chief
Instructor of the Aikido Yoshinkan World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan), who is featured in
the following video clips (Nic Mills is Chida Shihan's uke).
